Daniela Gerovska


Daniela Gerovska
received her PhD degree in Geophysics from the University of Mining and Geology, Sofia, Bulgaria, and another in Engineering from the University of Kyushu, Fukuoka, Japan. Has been working for 7 years as a bioinformatics and computational biology research scientist in Biodonostia Health Research Institute, San Sebastian, Spain, processing omics data to interpret complex biological systems associated with neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, aging, stem cells and regenerative medicine. Her role in the Circular Vision project is building pipelines for mapping circular DNA from omics data and quantifying differences between biological conditions, processing circular DNA omics data and identifying diagnostic and disease markers.
